Our Team

Our team of Registered Clinical Counsellors and our End-of-Life Doula Candidate show up with warmth, skill, and deep care in your most challenging seasons. Through birth, life, death, and beyond, we support people facing hard things.

Our work bears witness to the uncomfortable realities of being human. Whether what you’re carrying shows up as loss, anxiety, depression, disordered eating, ruptured relationships, or something you don’t yet know how to name, we’re here for you.

Hi, I’m Tanya

Registered Clinical Counsellor

A woman with dark wavy hair, smiling, wearing a beige blazer and light blue jeans, sitting on a wooden chair next to a small table with a white vase and a black book.
  • Connecting with individuals and families online, to confront painful realities more effectively

  • Supporting youth and caregivers living with eating disorders

  • Navigating depression, anxiety, and behaviour change

Specializes in:

I offer counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and families living through the uncertainty of eating disorders, anxiety, depression, loss, and other difficult life experiences. Together, we’ll create space for the hard things, the ones you can’t always share in your everyday life.

Based in BC, my practice is grounded in over a decade of experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist working in community mental health. I specialize in supporting people through complex, often isolating challenges, especially when concerns about food, mood, and mental health complicate the picture.

I recognize that healing, growth, and grief are not linear or time-bound. My integrative, trauma-informed approach is shaped by training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and Therapeutic Enactment (TE)- models that are humanistic, relational, and evidence-based. Qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Design in Fashion & Technology.

Meaningful shifts happen when people feel seen, safe, and supported.

  • Supporting people of all ages with death, dying, and grief

  • Advanced care planning for end-of-life

  • Building legacy and remembrance

  • Resourcing caregivers and loved ones

Specializes in:

My background is in caregiving. I began my career working in childcare and in children’s shelters, supporting young people who had been removed from unsafe environments. These roles taught me how to hold space for others with steadiness, compassion, and respect, especially in difficult and emotional circumstances. Becoming a death doula feels like a natural extension of this path.

End-of-life doula services support people of all ages through the profound processes of grief, death, and dying. I currently provide support for individuals and their loved ones, free-of-charge, as I complete certification with the Home Hospice Association.

I believe deeply in showing up for people during life’s most vulnerable moments. Supporting individuals and families through end-of-life experiences is not only my focus, it’s what I know I’m meant to do.Support for ending well
